TravelMemories is a travel journal app for Android. It is designed so that your memories stay on your device. The app does not collect, store, transmit, sell or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.
Every permission is optional; the app asks only when a feature needs it.
Trips, voice notes, captions and settings are stored in the app's private storage on your phone. Highlight videos you create are saved to your own gallery. The optional backup feature packages your data into a single file that you choose where to send or store — the app never sends it anywhere itself.
The app works offline. The only network use is the optional trip map, which downloads map imagery from OpenStreetMap. Like any web request, the tile server receives your IP address; no other information is sent, and the app attaches nothing about you or your photos to these requests. OpenStreetMap's own privacy policy is available at osmfoundation.org.
Optional premium features may be offered through Google Play's billing system. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play; the app never sees your payment details. Gift codes, where used, contain only the recipient name typed by the giver and an expiry date, and are verified on the device.
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If the app ever changes how it handles data (for example, adding an optional cloud backup), this policy will be updated first and the effective date above revised.
